Why Imran khan and PTI lost in karachi.
Today is 8th of December 2015 and all stages of local body’s electorates have been completed. Since the end of Perviaz Mushraff’s era, whole political leadership of country emerged to restore democratic process in Pakistan. Benazir and Nawaz Sharif were two main figures of this procedure. People of Pakistan very warmly welcomed both of them where ever they visited. They both have many political differences but they putted them aside and work together for a mutual cause. One thing that I want to mention is that they never give up ethics and morality in their speeches or interviews.
After the assassination of Benazir, Pakistan People Party decided to contest in 2008’s Elections and Nawaz Sharif was insisted by Asif Zardari and leadership of Peoples Party to take part in elections. PPP had highest number of parliamentarians of 118, PMLN with 89 PMLQ with 50 and MQM with 25 members. Number shows PMLN could easily form government by allying with MQM or PMLQ. But Nawaz Sharif didn’t do that for an ethical reason. But PPP’s government didn’t perform well in fact they were bad in all types of governance. But PPP government completed its tenure somehow.
Then another political party emerged before the election of 2013 named Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. Threek e Insaf was been considered a party with new faces and with a slogan of change. But the thing they lack most was ethics. This showed their immaturity in political grounds.
The leaders of PTI especially Imran khan criticized and targeted only PMLN and Nawaz Sharif in all his speeches and interviews. He ignored Altaf Husain and MQM in Karachi, ANP in KPK, PMLQ in Punjab and all of them in Baluchistan and targeted only Nawaz Sharif. The Punjab Government had very good statistics comparatively with other provinces but khan had only one target which was PMLN.
Three days ago local body’s election were held in Karachi. PTI was claiming to get seat of Mayor for the Karachi in alliance with Jamat-e-Islami. But both parties were defeated badly. And MQM got a clear mandate.
The dilemma of Imran khan’s politics is immaturity. From election campaign of 2013 till today he validated himself an immature politician. Once he said that MQM is a terrorist organization and then after some time he said that PTI has lot of ideological similarities with MQM. He ignored the victims of May 12 and sent the delegation of PTI to Nine Zero for sake of one political meeting at Mizar e Quaid. During Dharna he was in contact with MQM through Shiekh Rasheed but his hatred for PMLN remained constant.
Imran khan’s politics is giving a setback to Karachi operation. He should realize that he cannot easily win from those he had taken permission for Mizar e Quaid jalsa. Because of such immaturities, voters of PTI in Karachi do not trust him and didn’t come to polling stations. He can give civil disobedience call for not announcing judicial commission but he cannot protest in front of Ishaq Dar for imposing unfair taxes in assembly. He must get himself out of Nawaz Sharif’s hatred and address the real issues of Karachi and Pakistan. And let them work who are working for the betterment of Pakistan and Pakistani Nation.http://hamarisiasat.com/why-imran-khan-and-pti-lost-in-karachi/http://hamarisiasat.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/imrannn.jpghttp://hamarisiasat.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/imrannn-150x150.jpgUncategorizedImran khan
